When it comes to working to unavoidable, short noticed deadlines which works better? 1/ Processing until 5 in the morning, like I did last night, or 2/ going to bed really early and working from 6am? I guess this ultimately depends on how busy the following day is planned to be - I invariably fall for the former of the two (and suffer for it) but there is something more fulfilling about having the night ahead with only your work, perhaps a couple of glasses of wine and absolutely no distractions. The latter option usually has me lying awake for hours and being anxious about getting the work tied up before breakfast - perhaps there's either 'night-owl' or 'early-bird' genes that people possess and I think I know which category I firmly fall into, when it comes to tight deadlines...!
