Just finished 6 solid days of documenting the James Weir Building for the University of Strathclyde which went on fire 2 weeks ago. Every square inch of every room on 7 levels with every piece of equipment and personal belongings had to be documented with stills and video, under close supervision from Estates Services. Very eerie! It was like a time capsule in places with items still sitting where they'd been left, except in areas that had been accessed by the fire services and members of staff who collected private belongings.
Now I've got to sift through, log and edit over 8gb of stills images and 2 hours of video footage (after washing out the smell of smoke from all my clothes!). I cannot share any of these images, as with all other Uni documentation I've captured over the past 6 years, but I hope you get some idea of the scene from my hurried description.
